ONLINE BANKING TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
HRCU has updated the Online Banking to use two-factor authentication to add
a second layer of security to your online banking. This means each time you sign-in,
you will receive a one-time confirmation code to the email address connected with your online account.
The code will then have to be entered before you can access online banking. If it’s valid, you will have access
to your online accounts. This added layer of security will reduce the risks associated with
compromised passwords.
We ask that you update your email address immediately to ensure continued access to your online accounts.
Click on the Settings Tab after you login to the Online Banking and go to
Change Email to update your email address.
MOBILE PHONE VERIFICATION OTP
Mobile Phone Verification OTP is now available via SMS to your registered mobile phone.
Please ensure that you update your mobile phone number with HRCU.
This feature will only be available with your Belize mobile number.
You will be asked to reconfirm your email address and register your mobile number in order to receive
the verification code on your mobile phone.
Online Banking
The following features are available through HRCU Online
Banking:
Manage your accounts, view your account balances and transactions, download account statements
Transfer funds between your HRCU accounts or to other HRCU members, make payments to your loans
NEW! Online Loan Application
Apply for a loan at your convenience and save time. Submit loan applications and supporting documents
online anytime, before you meet with your loan officer to sign loan documents and
reduce wait time at the credit union.
You need to be a member of the Holy Redeemer Credit Union in order to use this service.
Members will need to register with their mobile phone. Please also ensure that you update
your contact details with HRCU.
Loan officers will look at SEVERAL factors when receiving a loan application. But most important
are a steady income, a good repayment history (payments ALWAYS made on time), and a good savings
history over a minimum period of twelve months. Each application is approved using multiple
factors, so keep in mind that no loan will be approved solely on the amount of savings you have.
Additional security will be requested for those members whose Share balance is not enough to be
granted a loan on their own credit history. This is either in the form of a co-signer or a land title.
Co-signers must have the cash amount available to pledge towards the loan application and must come
in person with the applicant to sign in front of the loan officer who will explain the
responsibility of the co-signer and the repercussions of no payment of the loan being signed for.
